Mr. Thames is employed with the Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District. He is married to Sherry Hyde Thames and has two sons, Luke and Jake. Mr. Thames was appointed as a member of the board in 2004. Mr. Thames replaces his spouse, Lawrence County's newly elected Tax Assessor/Collector, who served on the Board for eight years.
